Contest Introduction

As the statewide representative for Ohio’s 24 electric co-ops, Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives (“OEC” or “Sponsor”) values those who show their commitment to the cooperative principle of “Commitment to Community” and who make our cooperative communities better places to live.

OEC and its member electric cooperatives seek to honor inspirational members and those who may live in a member’s household, in the state of Ohio. This is an opportunity for members of OEC-affiliated co-ops to nominate someone who has made a positive impact on their community. In addition to being recognized, the nominees have the chance to win one of ten (10) $500 cash prizes.
